StrandHaus Schwedeneck in Danisch Nienhof

Even in times of the pandemic with its well-organized "take away sales" a real ray of hope in a wonderful location right on the beach. The pea soup was a dream :-)

Nicely located, right on the beach according to the name. Behind it lies a lot of nature and a forest that is ideal for hiking. There is a mini golf course directly at the parking lot. From there you can reach the StrandHaus after a few minutes. In Corona times, you score with out-of-home sales. You can then enjoy hot cocoa, coffee and home-baked cakes, fish rolls and small dishes on the beach. The staff is a bit grumpy at times ... The beach is popular with families with children and dog lovers.

Our favorite café in this corner. Nice view of the sea, always a table somewhere free, friendly wait staff and the food, coffee and cake so far always without any complaints.

This restaurant is an absolute insider tip that we would be happy to recommend! The direct view of the sea, the quality of the dishes and drinks and the whole ambience are perfect!

Breakfast for two very well arranged. Other restaurants offer more. Otherwise nice ambience, right on the beach. Very nice staff.

Popped in here after a walk on the beach. Pumpkin soup and tortilla very tasty. Great view of the troubled Baltic Sea!

A really very nice restaurant with a unique view of the Baltic Sea! The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and for dessert there was a delicious tiramisu! Class! I would love to come back here. There was even a hot chocolate to take away, as the restaurant also sells out-of-home. I can only recommend it to everyone to come to the beautiful beach house in Schwedeneck.

Coffee. And cakes were tidy, the staff was rotating and despite the tables being half full, the two coffees could only be brought after half an hour, sorry that doesn't work. The long waiting time is probably due to the fact that the counter takes part in the take-away sales

Were there for coffee. Delicious cake - even if there wasn't a large selection - and the best coffee I've had in a restaurant for a long time. Plus the wonderful location right on the beach. What more do you want?

The take-away service is underground. If you still try to order something outside of your home, there are only unfriendly comments. They cannot and do not want to go out there. Tried it three times and friends didn't get a chance to order a coffee either. It's actually a shame in the location that the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Very nicely located, right on the beach with a view of the Baltic Sea. spacious outside terrace, nice, simple ambience inside. Small, fine menu. Mainly tapas. Extra food for children, which most like 😏 Dogs welcome. Small cake selection.

After a very long walk with 3 small children, we wanted to stop at the StrandHaus shortly before 2 p.m. to enjoy coffee and cake on the outside terrace. Unfortunately we were already at the entrance with "received" very annoyed and unwanted looks. I went to the bar where the 2 "friendly" ladies were standing. I asked politely if we could take a seat outside. This was answered in an unfriendly tone with "if you have not reserved, just go outside". I then went outside with 2 children, just wanted to put ONE more chair at the table, whereupon the 2 grumpy ladies inside said (my husband and our acquaintance were still inside and heard it): "Look, now THEY is postponing everything! " Then my friend came out to us and said that we are apparently not wanted here. Then we went! Our children are hungry and disappointed that the promised rest after our hike cannot take place. So the final assessment: more appearance than reality. You can communicate with pleasure, but the tone or the manner makes the music. We were there on September 12th, 2020, shortly before 2 p.m.

Very nicely located directly on the beach of the Baltic Sea. Food was delicious. Friendly and quick service. A visit is worthwhile and recommended.

We like to come here to enjoy the peace and the view. Due to the exposed location, however, a very well attended StrandHaus can also be expected. Nevertheless, we like to use the surrounding area for a walk and then usually return to the StrandHaus Seeschlösschen. So far, it has always been very appealing and tasty, but this comes with a higher price (due to the location). This should not, however, stand in the way of a visit.

Cool

A very nice and the only cafe/restaurant here in the beach. They do a brunch in a Sunday morning which is recommended, it's mainly a cold buffet for the lunch part. The downside to being the only cafe on the beach is the rather high prices for things such as takeaway coffee.

Very romantic bar

Food was amazing. Walked down to see the Ost Sea and decided to have lunch. Certainly were not disappointed!
